Jason M. Rodriguez advises public, private, and emerging companies on a broad range of corporate matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, licensing transactions, joint venture transactions, and equity and debt financings. Many of his transactions involve cross-border activities and arrangements. His work covers various industries, including life sciences, software, e-commerce, technology, Internet services, broadcasting, telecommunications, and publishing.
Jason represents companies in corporate collaborations and strategic alliances. He assists clients with technology development, technology acquisitions, licensing arrangements, strategic alliances, distribution arrangements and supply arrangements.
Jason is currently the co-chair of the Boston Bar Association's International Law Section. In addition, Jason provides pro bono services to nonprofit organizations through the Lawyers Clearinghouse on Affordable Housing and Homelessness Inc. and the Boston Bar Association Business Law Pro Bono Project.
Previously, Jason was an associate in the private equity/venture capital group of the Boston office of Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, advising clients on a diverse range of transactional and general corporate matters, including private placements, syndicated financings, business acquisition and integration, intellectual property, and fiduciary responsibility.
