Beyond Batteries
THE FUTURE OF LONG-DURATION STORAGE
AND OTHER BULK INTEGRATION SOLUTIONS

Achieving the ambitious greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals in California and the United States will require a massive de-carbonization of the electric grid throughout the West. As our electricity supply becomes increasingly dependent on intermittent renewable energy sources, storage on a vast scale and other solutions will become increasingly necessary to integrate renewables and reduce overall GHG emissions. Chemical batteries and other short-duration storage technologies may not, by themselves, be cost-effective or enough to ensure around-the-clock supplies of low-carbon electricity.

Please join Morgan Lewis’s energy and environmental group for an Energy Breakfast series seminar on the future of long-duration energy storage and other large-scale integration solutions. The panelists include key policymakers and stakeholders shaping the future of this sector.
