The webinar will address recent changes to the regulatory framework of money market funds, with speakers representing legal, investment management, consultant, and record keeping perspectives.
Money market funds are widely used in defined contribution (DC) plans as stand-alone options, as components of asset allocation strategies, and to support plan activity such as forfeitures and distributions. The reforms will institute floating NAVs for certain money market funds, require the imposition of liquidity fees and redemption gates in certain situations, and affect fund operations and investment strategies.
