Namita E. Mani is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Mani's practice focuses on securities litigation, regulatory investigations and proceedings, and white collar criminal matters.

Ms. Mani represents companies and individuals in civil litigation and in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and state securities regulators. She has represented clients in matters involving allegations of false or misleading corporate disclosures, trading and sales violations, and off-label marketing of pharmaceuticals. Some of Ms. Mani's recent matters include the representation of financial institutions in regulatory investigations relating to insider trading and sales practice supervision. Ms. Mani was also part of the Morgan Lewis litigation team that defended a large mutual fund in market timing and gifts and gratuities enforcement actions.

Ms. Mani currently serves as vice chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the New York office. In her pro bono practice, she represents individuals in matters relating to special education, asylum, juvenile justice, and criminal defense.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Mani served as a law clerk to Judge Timothy J. Savage of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Mani was a litigation associate at Morgan Lewis from 2003–2005, before beginning her clerkship.

Ms. Mani earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2003. While in law school, she interned for the Child Care Law Center and was an editor of the Boston University Journal of Science and Technology Law. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998.

Ms. Mani is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
