Monica L. Parry is of counsel in Morgan Lewis's Investment Management and Securities Industry Practice. Ms. Parry’s practice focuses on investment companies and investment advisers.

Ms. Parry’s background includes the simplification of prospectuses for a major mutual fund family, structuring and drafting contracts and disclosure documents for wrap fee programs, drafting service contracts and registration statements, and dealing with a variety of compliance issues involving both registered and unregistered advisers and funds. She has also been involved in numerous Investment Advisers Act matters and filings.

Prior to entering private practice in 1995, Ms. Parry was a senior counsel in the Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Investment Management, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She joined that office in 1991 as a staff attorney, and became a senior counsel in 1993. She also served as counsel to Commissioner Richard Y. Roberts in 1994. Ms. Parry has co-authored several articles.

Ms. Parry is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
