C. Scott Salmon is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Salmon focuses his practice on the structuring, formation, and governance of and the investment in domestic and international private investment funds, including hedge funds, funds of funds, venture capital funds, and other private equity funds. He counsels major financial institutions, investment banks, and other institutional investors in their roles as sponsors and investment entities.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Salmon was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions and capital markets groups of a prominent New York law firm.
Mr. Salmon received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his M.B.A. in finance from Vanderbilt University, Owen Graduate School of Management in 2003. He received his B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri in 1996.
