Susan "Sue" Quint is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Energy Practice. Sue has more than 20 years' experience in the nuclear industry in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States, representing clients in licensing, regulatory and commercial matters from fuel supply agreements to operations and maintenance (O&M) agreements. She has a thorough knowledge of the UK nuclear regulatory regime and has worked with a wide variety of stakeholders, including government and regulators. Sue also has experience in international M&A, including the sale by British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL) of Westinghouse Electric LLC to Toshiba in 2006. In addition, Sue has worked on major projects in the nuclear industry, particularly during the re-organization of the nuclear decommissioning sector in 2005 following the enactment of the Energy Act 2004, including the O&M agreements between the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and the Site License Companies.

Sue is actively involved in the licensing of new nuclear plants in the UK, working with clients on licence applications to the Office of Nuclear  Regulation including advising on company structure and governance arrangements. She also advises clients of existing nuclear companies on their decommissioning mission and advises clients in the Middle East and Europe on third party nuclear liabilities and associated laws and conventions.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Sue held a series of positions in BNFL. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 and became a commercial lawyer in the team. She became Head of Corporate and Commercial for the BNFL Group in 2000, was appointed as BNFL's UK General Counsel in 2004, becoming Group Legal Director and Company Secretary in 2007. As Group Legal Director and Company Secretary, she was responsible for managing the legal and governance aspects of the business. She also advises the Department of Business Innovation and Skills on issues relating to BNFL.

Sue is admitted to practice in England and Wales as a Solicitor.
