Joseph C. Ragaglia is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Ragaglia manages a nationwide traditional labor law practice, representing a wide variety of employers in union organizing campaigns, corporate campaigns, contract negotiation and administration, and all matters before the National Labor Relations Board. His practice also includes management and supervisory training in positive employee relations, the FLSA, and harassment prevention. Mr. Ragaglia regularly advises clients in various industries regarding complex labor implications involved in mergers and acquisitions, sales, strikes, decertifications, plant closings, and relocations. He also represents employers in labor and employment law proceedings before various federal and state courts and administrative agencies, as well as counseling clients on compliance with the multitude of federal, state, and local employment laws.
In addition to litigation matters, Mr. Ragaglia drafts employment policies and agreements, as well as advises employers on all aspects of the day-to-day labor and employment relationships. He frequently speaks on topics such as pending labor legislation, including the Employee Free Choice Act, RESPECT Act, the Patriot Act, positive employee relations, and various employment laws that include FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
Mr. Ragaglia has a certificate in human resource management from Villanova University and his certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Mr. Ragaglia earned his J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law, where he served as associate editor for The Ohio State Law Journal.
Mr. Ragaglia is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
