Brian M. Jazaeri is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Jazaeri represents clients in complex commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on class action matters and financial services, healthcare and technology litigation. His representations include business disputes involving breach of contract, bad faith, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, UCC, unfair business practices, trade secrets, and corporate governance. He also has experience in defending class actions in federal and state courts involving allegations of unfair competition, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Truth in Lending Act, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, California Unfair Competition Law, California Consumer Legal Remedies Act and state privacy laws, as well as issues arising under the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005.
In addition, Mr. Jazaeri has trial and arbitration experience in mass tort, product liability, and commercial dispute cases. His practice includes the development and implementation of national strategies that involve conducting extensive discovery, pleading and motion practice, case management, mediation, and trial preparation.
Mr. Jazaeri received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2002 and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998.
Mr. Jazaeri is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California.
