Corporate Counsel magazine's annual survey of America's biggest companies finds Morgan Lewis among the top choices for law firms again this year. Outside counsel for the Fortune 250 gave Morgan Lewis top honors in labor and employment, out of 421 law firms listed. Morgan Lewis also tied for 5th place in the litigation category, and took 5th place in the category "Most Mentions Overall."
The findings are reported in the September 2005 edition of Corporate Counsel, as part of their annual "Who Represents America's Biggest Companies" issue. The survey asks Fortune 250 companies to list who they consider to be their primary outside counsel, or "go to" law firms that are on the company's preferred list for specific practice areas. Our rankings for Labor and Employment and for Litigation represent an increase over 2004.
