The teleseminar will focus on the implications of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act for life sciences companies. The speakers will discuss how the corporate governance, periodic reporting and internal controls provisions of the Act have affected and will continue to affect the way that life sciences companies do business. Specific topics will include how life sciences companies should: structure boards of directors and audit committees, ensure that their senior officers can effectively certify financial statements and periodic public reports, and develop effective internal controls.
