Morgan Lewis presents "Legal Opinions in Business Transactions."
In this presentation, junior associates will learn about legal opinions given to third parties in connection with business transactions. The presenter will first provide an overview on the history of legal opinions and a background of their contents. Then he will discuss in detail the importance of researching and organizing back-up documentation upon which a legal opinion is based. In summary, the junior associates will be instructed on how to conduct the research for and drafting of back-up memoranda to include in the file in support of the legal opinion.
