Federal and state agencies have begun partnering to crack down on the misclassification of independent contractors, and the U.S. Department of Labor has specifically targeted the home building industry. This webinar will cover these recent government efforts, what the risks are if a government agency finds a worker to be misclassified, how to determine if a worker can be properly classified as an independent contractor, and best practices to minimize risk when using independent contractors.
