The main emphasis of this presentation is the important role that attorneys play in the closing of a business transaction, whether it be a merger, acquisition or securities offering. The presenters will discuss in detail how an attorney should prepare for a closing, what needs to be delivered at a closing, and what attorneys can expect on closing day. Also, the presenters will talk about matters that need to be addressed post-closing, such as regulatory filings and the preparation of closing binders.
