Please join us for the Fee Disclosure Regulations - An Overview Webcast Series.

You are invited to attend the first of two separate one-hour interactive webcasts focusing on the recently finalized/proposed rules by the Department of Labor (DOL) regarding fee disclosure information revisions.

The DOL anticipates that these disclosure rules will aid plan fiduciaries in accessing the reasonableness of compensation paid to service providers as well as any potential conflict of interests that may arise. The proposed rules also mean that additional written disclosures will need to be made by service providers. Some of the new requirements may be effective for plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2009.

The interactive webcasts will offer information and discussion on issues including:

  • Form 5500 Schedule C
  • Self-directed individual account plans (such as 401(k) plans)
  • Changes to the regulations under Section 404(c)
  • What constitutes a reasonable contract or arrangement under Section 408(b)(2)

Please join attorneys from our ERISA Litigation Practice, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, and Investment Mangagement/Securities Industry Practice as they discuss what these new rules will mean for employers, plan fiduciaries, and service providers.
