The Los Angeles County Bar Association is convening a community forum to promote dialogue and commitment to action by a broad range of stakeholders to increase the diversity of the legal profession in Los Angeles. Diversity Summit invitees include prominent educators, business leaders, attorneys, judges, and government officials from the Los Angeles County who will discuss diversity issues and begin formulating plans of action.
The event will open with a plenary session addressing the need for a diversity pipeline and then move into a series of breakout sessions grouped into several tracks: K-12 education, higher education, the practice of law, and a track relating to the courts.
Morgan Lewis Partner Joan Haratani will speak at this year's Diversity Summit.
