OFCCP’s Expanded Compensation Discrimination Enforcement

Thursday, March 14, 2013
01:00 PM - 02:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time

On February 26, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) issued a new directive governing any OFCCP audits opened on or after February 28, 2013. In the directive, the OFCCP outlines new enforcement procedures and standards for addressing systemic compensation discrimination, which likely will lead to more extensive compensation audits and increased allegations of pay and job-assignment discrimination.

Please join us for a one-hour webinar discussing the following topics:

  • How the new standards loosen comparability standards and allow for comparisons of employees who work in different jobs and have different job duties
  • The implications of aggregate regressions that do not control for interaction effects or for certain legitimate factors
  • How OFCCP's new focus on job-assignment discrimination through regression models that do not control for job classification will impact contractors
  • How contractors can prepare to address the new OFCCP compensation enforcement regime and take proactive steps to avoid OFCCP allegations of pay discrimination
