Venture In: BlueRun Ventures

Morgan Lewis is a sponsor of the Pittsburgh Technology Council's Venture In Series. Venture In is a series of programs aimed at strengthening relationships between Pittsburgh's entrepreneurial community and the nation's leading venture capital organizations.

This session, which will feature BlueRun Ventures, will focus primarily on investment in the software and Internet industry. The speaker will discuss the companies BlueRun invests in, what factors it considers when deciding to invest and the nature of today's investment climate. BlueRun has more than $1 billion of capital under management and focuses on early stage opportunities across Internet/media, mobile, enterprise software, semiconductors and components. BlueRun's initial investment is between $1 million and $6 million and it is best known for investments in companies such as PayPal, Widerthan, and Enpocket.
