PR strategist Tony DeFazio, President of DeFazio Communications, LLC will present Lessons in PR: How to Turn Message Management into Profitability," for the Morgan Lewis Venture Ready Entrepreneur Workshop Series.
Public relations is the most sought after but misunderstood marketing tool. Everybody wants it, but few understand it. This is especially true of entrepreneurs who crave "earned media" exposure, but don't always understand how it works or how to get it. Misconceptions about PR can undermine what Forbes called the "greatest marketing tool of all time." This session will deconstruct the myths and realities of PR and show how emerging growth companies have used PR to become industry leaders. Attendees will learn how to use the media to sell more products and position themselves for exits.
