Morgan Lewis partner Richard McMenamin will be a panelist at the Insurance Society of Philadelphia's Consequences of the Catastrophes on Risk Management and Insurance Seminar. The hurricane season of 2005 will be remembered for decades to come for the human and economic toll as well as for the influence it is likely to have shaping discussion and decisions regarding our response. At this seminar, attendees will learn how risk management and insurance issues have been and are being impacted by catastrophes. Issues to be reviewed will include the challenges facing the management of natural disaster risk, catastrophe modeling used in quantifying risk, insurance coverage issues, the overall economic impact of catastrophes, and managing natural catastrophes in a Post-9/11 World.
