We recognize that you are a dedicated professional with individual interests, so our goal is to make the work experience stimulating, balanced, and fun. We make certain you have the opportunity to excel at everything you do—professionally and personally—because at Morgan Lewis, we believe that quality of life is as important as quality of work.

Many of us need to balance work commitments with family and other obligations. Flextime, telecommuting, and part-time schedules are available options for our lawyers—male or female, associates or partners. During the past five years, for example, 19 percent of our female lawyers who were elected to partnership did so while working a reduced schedule.

We organize our legal teams—secretaries, paralegals, associates, and partners alike—into integrated client-service teams, because we value the benefits of different perspectives. The demands of work and home affect everyone, and achieving a balance requires flexibility on the part of the individual and the firm. As a result, we recognize individual needs and strive to make each team member’s life as manageable as possible. In many of our offices, we offer amenities like emergency-child care arrangements, onsite fitness facilities, coffee bars, and complimentary snacks. Many offices have weekly social gatherings open to all staff and attorneys to facilitate interaction among team members.

At Morgan Lewis, we trust our professionals to perform at their top levels, and we provide them with the flexibility to do so.
