Over 71,000 hours were spent on pro bono representations, at a value to our pro bono clients of tens of millions of dollars.

Nearly two-thirds of the firm's attorneys contributed at least 20 hours to a pro bono matter; representations span all practice groups and offices.

Representations included more than 1,600 active matters, including nearly 400 new matters.

Full "above the line" credit given for pro bono time charges.

Morgan Lewis offers its professional legal staff challenging work, and the latest in knowledge management technology. The environment is fast-paced, and the work style is team-oriented.

Our professional legal staff members work under the direct supervision of lawyers in all practice areas of the firm as members of specific practice groups. Many professional legal staff members frequently interface with clients and co-counsel, while handling significant factual research or document drafting responsibilities.

Orientation and basic technical skills training programs are provided for all incoming professional legal staff members, and Mentor Programs exist in a number of the larger practice areas. Each practice area generally designs its own training activities, and encourages its professional legal staff to attend in-house attorney training programs, as well as continuing education opportunities offered outside the firm.

Morgan Lewis encourages professional legal staff to participate in public interest, civic, and charitable activities as well.
