Applying for the Summer Program

  1. Submit your cover letter, resume, and transcripts through your career services office or to the legal recruiting contact for the office you are interested in.
  2. Screening interviews are held for qualified candidates either on campus (if available; see the calendar) or in a local Morgan Lewis office, typically 20-30 minutes.
  3. Eligible candidates may be invited to an in-office callback visit to meet with members of the recruiting committee and attorneys in the practice area of interest.

2007 WASHINGTON, D.C. ASSOCIATE COMPENSATION

  • Summer Associates
    • $30,800 per-summer compensation
  • First-Year Associates
    • Base compensation $160,000
    • Relocation expenses
    • $5,000 stipend to cover bar expenses
    • Judicial Clerkship bonus of $25,000 for Federal Circuit Court of Appeals Clerks, $20,000 for Federal District Court clerks who are hired directly from their clerkship
