John came to the firm from the National Labor Relations Board, his first job after law school. He worked there for seven years in three different offices before making the jump from the government to the world of a law firm.
The firm has given me so many opportunities to grow as a lawyer. Working here, you’re working with the best and the brightest – your colleagues and your clients. So you have to bring your ‘A’ game every day on every project. Just being able to work with these individuals, day in and day out, has made me a better lawyer.
I chose Morgan Lewis because I wanted to diversify my law practice. I was ready for new challenges. I was aware of the firm’s excellent reputation, especially in the labor field, so I wanted to come over here and meet those challenges. It’s been a tremendous experience for me.
Soon after I joined the firm, I had the great opportunity to be part of an incredible team of lawyers who were helping a high-profile client with very important collective bargaining negotiations that affected many of their sites across the country. The project gave me exposure not only to the client, but also to the negotiations themselves. I worked with some really talented people to achieve an excellent result for an important client.
