A team of Philadelphia attorneys obtained an adjudication of dependency for DC in Philadelphia Family Court. DC, who suffered physical abuse by her mother and abandonment by her father, could have been deported to the Ivory Coast where she was at risk of suffering female genital mutilation.

Morgan Lewis attorneys obtained, through an Individual with Disabilities Education Act request, more than 360 hours of private reading lessons for our 14 year-old client with disabilities who was reading at the first grade level.

Morgan Lewis lawyers represent a 9 year-old boy who is deaf, blind and failing to receive the educational supports to which he is entitled under federal law. We are pursuing injunctive relief so that our client can return to school with his classmates.

A team of attorneys, each of whom practice in different groups, collectively represent an independent Catholic school which serves underprivileged children in an economically depressed area. This past year, the Morgan Lewis team assisted the school in obtaining variances and a certificate from the Zoning Board of Adjustment that will allow the school to build a much-needed addition.
