North American South Asian Bar Association (NASABA) 4th Annual Convention: Bridging Borders
San Francisco
From June 28-30, 2007, NASABA will hold its Fourth Annual Professional Convention aptly themed “Bridging Borders,” and hosted by the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California (SABA-NC). SABA-NC is the oldest South Asian Bar Association and boasts over 400 members in the Bay Area having from a wide range of legal backgrounds.
The event will feature a variety of seminars, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities, including an Awards Banquet honoring many of the South Asian community’s most accomplished lawyers. Last year’s convention in Atlanta, Georgia, drew over 400 attorneys from 34 major cities across the U.S., Canada, and India. We expect this year’s turnout, building on the success of the last 3 years, to draw an even larger turnout.
Morgan Lewis Partner Joan M. Haratani will moderate a panel discussing "The Importance of Diversity" on Friday, June 29th from 2p.m. to 3:15p.m.
