This session will begin with the presenters giving an introductory background on the world of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They will then discuss the operations of the business under bankruptcy protection as a "debtor in possession," the treatment of different types of creditors, certain avoidance actions, and the plan of reorganization process. The presenters will emphasize issues which are likely to be faced by junior attorneys irrespective of practice area.
