Morgan Lewis Receives MCCA’s Sager Award for the Western Region
Washington, D.C., September 12, 2007: Morgan Lewis is pleased to announce that the firm has received the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s (MCCA) Thomas L. Sager Award for the Western Region. This award was created in honor of Thomas L. Sager, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of DuPont, and is presented only five times each year to law firms who have demonstrated a commitment to creating a more inclusive legal profession and working environment. Veta Richardson, Executive Director of MCCA, describes the award as "a national honor that I hope will encourage your firm and its Diversity Committee to build upon your existing commitment through the ongoing implementation of diversity best practices."
The award will be presented to the firm at MCCA’s Western Region diversity dinner on October 11, 2007 in San Francisco.
Morgan Lewis is proud of its long-standing relationship with MCCA. For the past two years, MCCA has been resident in our Washington, D.C. office. Our lawyers speak at various MCCA events, and we sponsor the organization's two major conferences and its diversity dinner series.
