Morgan Lewis Announces First Additions in Paris, Strengthening European Tax Presence
PARIS, July 1, 2004 - Morgan Lewis announced today that Patrice Lefèvre-Péaron has joined the firm’s Paris office as a partner in its Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Lefèvre-Péaron’s practice will focus on French and international tax matters. He is joined by two tax associates.
Mr. Lefèvre-Péaron and the associates rejoin Jean Leygonie and 14 other lawyers who recently opened the Paris office of Morgan Lewis. The full group has been together for approximately 10 years, first practicing at the respected Paris firm Moquet Borde before moving to De Pardieu.
The addition of these 18 lawyers and the opening of the new Paris office follows Morgan Lewis’ ongoing strategy for growth, which in the past two years has included the addition of lawyers from the former Brobeck, Zevnik Horton and Pennie & Edmonds firms and has seen the Morgan Lewis open offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Irvine, Chicago and Boston in addition to Paris.
