The Philadelphia office of Morgan Lewis opened in 1873, as the firm's first office. It grew quickly due to the vision of Charles Eldridge Morgan Jr., Francis Draper Lewis and Morris Rex Bockius. By the 1930s, the office had a full-service practice, that served as the base on which the firm has grown.
