Our London office is made up of lawyers that practise both English and US law. The office was opened in 1981 and works closely with our other offices to service the needs of our international clients accessing the markets in the US, UK, and elsewhere in Europe.
Our lawyers advise on the establishment, operation, and financing of businesses in the UK covering mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and debt and equity financings in the public and private markets, including listing on the London Stock Exchange. Our Business and Finance Practice in London also includes a specialist pharmaceutical and biotech team.
Our cross-border transactional practice includes the representation of large- and medium-sized US, UK, and other European companies in public and private debt and equities financings in the US, including SEC registered offerings and listings on the NYSE and NASDAQ.
Our International Tax Practice provides UK and US planning and structuring advice for companies and individuals involved in cross-border situations.
Our highly regarded Labour and Employment Law Practice focuses on employment litigation, managing workplace disputes, and day-to-day counselling issues, as well as advising on the employment and benefits aspects of corporate and outsourcing transactions and advising on data privacy issues.
