Jonathan N.P. Gilliland Of Counsel

Jonathan N.P. Gilliland is of counsel in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. His area of practice involves advising clients on a broad range of debt- and credit-related transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, secured and unsecured credit lines, and asset-based, equipment and vendor financings. He also focuses on distressed company restructurings, workouts, and bankruptcy-related issues and transactions.

Additionally, Mr. Gilliland assists public and private clients with a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-outs and spin-ins, joint ventures, strategic alliances and venture investments, documentation of commercial transactions, structuring transactions to reduce credit and other commercial risks, advising on bankruptcy and related insolvency risks, workouts, and corporate restructurings.

Mr. Gilliland earned his LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1989 and his B.A. from Oxford University in 1988.

Mr. Gilliland is admitted to practice in California, New York, and England and Wales as a Solicitor.
