Susan R. Diamond is of counsel in the Real Estate Practice in Morgan Lewis's San Francisco office and she holds a position at Stanford Law School as a lecturer teaching Land Use Law. Ms. Diamond's practice includes land use law, substantial experience in strategizing the development process, managing the entitlements process, securing approvals, and negotiating contracts for major developers, corporate users and not-for-profits (e.g., stadium, downtown and suburban office buildings and related facilities, residential/industrial/commercial master plans, biotech facilities, alternative energy systems, cemeteries, shopping centers, seniors projects, museums).

Ms. Diamond advises public sector, private sector, and not-for-profit clients with respect to a wide variety of planning and zoning laws including general plan and specific plan amendments, California Environmental Quality Act and National Environmental Policy Act, development agreements, zoning amendments, historic preservation, exactions, subdivision compliance, conditional use permit conditions, findings; conduct land use due diligence for real estate portfolio acquisitions and sales.

Ms. Diamond is admitted to practice in California.
