Benjamin H. Pensak is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Pensak focuses his practice in the life sciences industry. He advises public and private biotech and pharmaceutical companies on general corporate and transactional matters, while focusing specifically on technology-based transactions. These transactions include the formation of joint ventures, partnerships, and other complex collaborations and licensing arrangements.

Mr. Pensak's clients range from early-stage biotechnology startups to global pharmaceutical companies based both in the United States and abroad, as well as specialty pharma, medical device, and other technology companies. He advises these clients on a variety of mission-critical transactions, including the negotiation and structuring of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate partnering, licensing and other complex collaborations, and the equity investments and other securities matters that often accompany such transactions. Related matters include the drafting and negotiating of technical contractual arrangements for drug discovery, development, manufacturing and supply, marketing, and outsourcing among life sciences companies, universities, and other research organizations. 

Mr. Pensak received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2006, where he was an associate editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law. Mr. Pensak received his B.A., with honors, in religion from Wesleyan University, while conducting a range of microbiology research focused primarily on gene therapy.

Mr. Pensak is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
