Rebecca Leon is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Investment Management and Securities Industry Practice. Ms. Leon focuses her practice on investment management, counseling broker-dealers and investment advisers on a wide variety of domestic and international regulatory, transactional, and operational matters. Her practice also includes the formation and regulation of foreign and domestic hedge funds and funds-of-funds. She has represented brokerage firms in NASD and NYSE arbitrations, SEC investigations, and civil litigations. She has assisted issuers with public offerings, private placements, and routine securities filings.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Leon was a securities litigation associate at a Florida-based law firm and a corporate securities associate at a large New York law firm. She also previously served as a staff attorney in the Enforcement Division of the SEC's New York Regional Office.

Ms. Leon received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1995, where she was managing editor for the Journal of Law and Policy. She received her M.B.A. in finance from Case Western Reserve University in 1992 and her B.A. in psychology and literature from Case Western Reserve University in 1990.

Ms. Leon is admitted to practice in Florida and New York and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
