Michael N. Peterson Partner

Michael N. Peterson is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business Transactions Practice. Mr. Peterson advises private equity funds and public and private company clients on various matters. The focus of his private equity practice is managing complex acquisition and disposition stategies and the general representation of clients' portfolio companies. His public and private company representations include advising clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, obligations under and compliance with the securities laws, corporate governance, joint ventures and general corporate law. He also represents members of the FTSE 100 with respect to U.S.-based acquisitions and dispositions.

Mr. Peterson represents clients in a variety of industries, including life sciences, manufacturing, software, technology, water and waste water, trucking, printing, communication and professional services.

From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Peterson competed both nationally and internationally as a member of the United States Olympic Rowing Team.

Mr. Peterson is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
