Joshua R. Blackman Associate

Joshua R. Blackman is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Investment Management Practice. Mr. Blackman's practice focuses on securities and derivatives markets, broker-dealer regulation, and enforcement defense. He also counsels business and compliance personnel on regulatory issues related to the asset management business.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Blackman served as a legal intern for Judge Ricardo M. Urbina of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He earned his J.D., with highest honors, from the George Washington University National Law Center in 2002. While attending law school, Mr. Blackman was a member of The George Washington University Law Review and the Moot Court Board. In addition, Mr. Blackman was awarded the Order of the Coif and received a Kappa Beta Pi Award and the John Ordronaux Award. He earned his B.A. in political science and economics from Northwestern University in 1999.
