Joseph E. Santucci, Jr. is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Santucci's practice focuses on a variety of labor and employment law matters, including management labor law, collective bargaining, employee drug testing, contract administration, arbitration and employment discrimination-related litigation.
Mr. Santucci represents clients in a variety of industries, including air transportation, energy, food service, shipping, manufacturing, government contracting, sports and entertainment, trucking, and building service contractors.
Mr. Santucci has negotiated and assisted in the negotiation of numerous national and local collective bargaining agreements, including the National Master Freight Agreement, the Airborne Freight/Teamsters National Agreement, and the Teamsters Master Brewery Agreement, and various industry and local agreements with the Teamsters, United Auto Workers, Service Employees International Union, Utility Workers Union of America, IBEW, Communication Workers of America, and the International Association of Machinists, among other labor unions.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Santucci was associate general counsel for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he served as an attorney/adviser to the National Labor Relations Board. In 1987-1988, he served as a conferee to the White House Conference for a Drug-Free America, a position to which he was appointed by President Ronald Reagan.
Mr. Santucci has served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where he taught labor law.
Mr. Santucci is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
