Jason Nickerson

Associate

Jason Nickerson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Nickerson focuses his practice on defending employers in employment discrimination litigation in federal and state court at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Nickerson also provides counseling to employers concerning local, state, and federal employment laws, and assists employers in responding to charges of discrimination filed with administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Relations. He has defended clients in a broad range of employment matters involving discrimination, retaliation, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and whistleblower claims, as well as wage and hour actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Mr. Nickerson earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003. He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, from Ithaca College in 1999.

Mr. Nickerson is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
