Teri E. Kirkwood is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Kirkwood's practice focuses on representing clients in federal and state courts in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters, including discrimination and harassment cases. She has an extensive background in all aspects of employment litigation and has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal courts. These cases have involved wrongful termination; discrimination based on race, sex, gender, age, disability, national origin, and religion; issues involving family and medical leave; racial and sexual harassment; and a multitude of wide-ranging employment issues. Ms. Kirkwood also has extensive training and background as an employment mediator.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Kirkwood worked as a sole practitioner, with a focus on mediation and litigation. Additionally, she was a partner and head of the employment practice group for a boutique law firm in California.

Ms. Kirkwood received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1986 and her B.A. in economics and psychology from Pitzer College in 1982.

Ms. Kirkwood is a member of the Labor and Employment and Litigation sections of the California State Bar.

Ms. Kirkwood is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
