Katherine S. Pell is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Ms. Pell earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2006, where she served as a note comment editor for the Temple Law Review and received the Sarah A. Shull Memorial Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing and the West Publishing Company Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. During law school, Ms. Pell worked in the Philadelphia District Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to law school, Ms. Pell, a certified public accountant licensed in Pennsylvania, worked as a senior associate in the Assurance Business Advisory Services group of an international accounting firm in Philadelphia, where she specialized in the audit of public manufacturing companies. She received her B.S., with distinction, in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998.
