Robert M. Brochin is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. During his career, Mr. Brochin has represented clients in commercial matters involving business and corporate disputes and torts, unfair trade practices, contracts, and injunctive relief.
In 1991, Florida Governor Lawton Chiles asked Mr. Brochin to serve as his Deputy General Counsel. Governor Chiles subsequently appointed Mr. Brochin Inspector General for the State of Florida.
Mr. Brochin returned to the firm in 1993 as a litigation partner and resumed his practice as a trial lawyer. He continues to handle complex commercial litigation matters. Examples include representing clients in breach of contract disputes and licensing agreements involving lost profits; violations of Florida’s unfair and deceptive trade practices (brought by Florida’s Attorney General); RICO violations; claims involving misappropriation of trade secrets; and tortious interference with contractual and business relationships. He also has represented clients in class action cases.
Mr. Brochin is admitted to practice in Florida.
