Kevin S. Shmelzer

Kevin S. Shmelzer is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Before law school, Mr. Shmelzer, a certified public accountant licensed in New York and Pennsylvania, worked as a senior associate in the Assurance Business Advisory Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York.

Mr. Shmelzer earned his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2005, where he received the Arthur L. Berns Memorial Prize and served as the business editor for the Temple Law Review. He earned his B.S., summa cum laude, in accounting from Lehigh University in 2000, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Shmelzer is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
