D. Bruce McPherson

D. Bruce McPherson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Energy Practice. Mr. McPherson assists with the representation of electric utilities and other clients in the nuclear industry on a variety of regulatory and litigation matters before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), other agencies, and the federal courts. His practice includes advising on NRC licensing and enforcement proceedings, decommissioning funding, nuclear financial restructuring, and related matters.

Mr. McPherson earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2003. Prior to law school, Mr. McPherson worked for a prominent software technology firm as a manager of financial derivative implementations. He also worked as a manager in money transfer at a leading national financial institution. Mr. McPherson earned his M.B.A. from Michigan State University in 2001 and his B.S. from the University of Maryland in 1994.

Mr. McPherson is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Michigan.
