Margit E. Anderson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Anderson represents and counsels management in a wide range of employment issues, with a particular emphasis in employment discrimination litigation. Her experience includes individual and class action litigation arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and other federal employment laws.

In addition to her experience with employment litigation, Ms. Anderson has represented and counseled companies in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including class actions, general commercial business disputes, breach of contract cases, and other business tort matters. Ms. Anderson also has experience with a variety of corporate investigations.

Ms. Anderson received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2006, where she was active in several student organizations and was also a member of the Northwestern Law Trial Team. She received her B.A. in philosophy and psychology from Emory University in 2000.

Ms. Anderson is admitted to practice in Illinois. In addition to her practice, Ms. Anderson also serves as a member of the Chicago office's Recruiting Committee and the Pro Bono Committee.
