Marsha S. Katz is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Ms. Katz's practice focuses on structured and complex derivative transactions for Fortune 500 corporations, private companies, hedge funds, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals.
Ms. Katz also has been involved in a wide range of transactions in mergers and acquisitions and securities law, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions and sales of both publicly and privately held companies, strategic alliances, private equity transactions, private placements, and general corporate and compliance matters.
Ms. Katz received her LL.M. in taxation in 1998 and her J.D. in 1997 from New York University School of Law, where she was a student editor of the Tax Law Review and an articles editor for the Annual Survey of American Law. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Rutgers College in 1994.
Ms. Katz is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
