Catherine G. Davis

Catherine (Kate) G. Davis is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Energy Practice. Ms. Davis represents electric, natural gas, and water utilities in litigation and regulatory proceedings. Her transactional energy practice is focused on renewable energy. Ms. Davis also provides advice and representation with respect to state and federal environmental laws.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Davis was a litigation associate at a large firm, where she concentrated on administrative and environmental law.

Ms. Davis received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2006, where she graduated Order of the Coif and was an articles editor for the Wisconsin Law Review. While in law school, Ms. Davis clerked for the Department of Justice and the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to pursuing her legal career, she was a policy analyst at the Environmental Protection Agency. Ms. Davis earned her A.B., magna cum laude, in biology from Bowdoin College in 2002.

Ms. Davis is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin only and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
