Eric M. Kaufman

Director of Marketing

Eric M. Kaufman is director of marketing for Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Kaufman works closely with practice leadership on various marketing and client development activities. He supports attorneys throughout the firm's offices to develop and track a high volume of new business pitches, proposals, and presentations; to draft responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs); to conduct competitive intelligence and industry research; to prepare effective marketing materials; and to research and plan client events, CLE programs, and online webcasts.

Mr. Kaufman regularly consults with partners on a variety of profile-building opportunities, including external public relations, high-profile sponsorships, and speaking engagements. He supports lateral integration and continued firm expansion by coordinating internal communication and related press outreach. Mr. Kaufman also coordinates cross-practice and interdisciplinary team initiatives in an effort to cross-sell key clients and to generate new business.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Kaufman was on the marketing and business development team of a "big five" accounting firm.

Mr. Kaufman received his B.B.A. in marketing from George Washington University, School of Business and Public Management in 1996.
