Matthew B. Murphy is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Murphy was an associate at a national law firm, where he also focused on general business and finance issues.

Mr. Murphy earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 2007, where he was a senior editor for the California Western School of Law Law Review & International Law Journal. He earned his B.A. in business and economics from Lafayette College in 2002.

Mr. Murphy is admitted to practice in New York.
