Kilus J. White, Jr. is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. White's practice focuses on assisting life sciences companies as they seek to form joint ventures, partnerships, and other complex collaborations; acquire venture capital financing; and execute mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and licensing agreements.
Mr. White's work involves a variety of firm clients, ranging from early-stage biotechnology startups to global pharmaceutical companies, as well as medical device and other technology companies. Employing his background in the pharmaceutical industry, he assists in providing an assortment of services for these clients in support of a variety of mission-critical undertakings, including the negotiation and structuring of transactions, the facilitation of equity investments, and the navigation of other securities matters that often accompany such transactions. Related matters include the drafting of technical contractual arrangements related to the conducting and outsourcing of drug discovery, development, and marketing.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. White was a neuroscience senior sales specialist and market researcher for a Fortune 150 pharmaceutical company in New York City, focusing on the sale and marketing of prescription psychotropic products. Prior to that, Mr. White served as a senior international financial analyst for a Fortune 50 global healthcare company. He focused on the forecasting and reporting of international drug sales; long-term strategic planning; standard cost development; and manufacturing planning, joint venture accounting, and the global marketing and commercialization of new products.
Mr. White earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2006; his M.B.E. from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine in 2006; and his B.S., cum laude, in accounting from Florida A&M University in 1995.
